What is the purpose of this?
It gives you the ability to remotely track a lost phone, stolen phone, or phone of a family member.
What does this do?
This application runs on your phone, and contacts our website every configurable number of minutes. If you report the phone as "Stolen", the application starts sending its location to our servers, so you can track it (with Google Maps). We also offer interval-based tracking for family members. When tracked, it is impossible to change application settings. This software also helps for lost phones.
How is this different from the alternative products?
-Runs in the background
-Does NOT ask "Would you like to allow FindMyI to View your location" after setup
-Configurable in all web browsers, and in the application itself

-Receives minor updates without cydia/app store
-NOT battery intensive. It checks if it's stolen on an interval, and doesn't report its location unless it is being tracked

-Reports its accuracy, so you KNOW if you're going to the correct place
Where do I get it?
It is currently available in Cydia, and (Hopefully soon) available in the AppStore.
---How to use findmyi---
Setup
Install "findmyi", an iPhone application available via Cydia.
Upon opening the application, you can register or login.
Registration adds the phone to your account as well. You must "Give permission to let findmyi access your location". This is a one time job, it saves your decision.
Usage
If you believe your phone is stolen, open "Manage Registered Phones", and report it "Stolen".
If the phone is not stolen but you wish to track it, login to your account, and tell it to "track it regularly", under "Manage Phones"
Within a few minutes, as long as the phone is still on, the phone will find out it has been stolen/should report it's location. This will trigger GPS location reports to be sent to us.
Once we receive a location, the option to track it will be available in "Manage Registered Phones". You must refresh "Manage Phones" for the tracking link to become available.
