Παιδια καλημερα και απο μερα και καλως σας βρηκα για πειτε μου στο ipad 2 γινετε jailbreak? και αν οχι ποτε το βλεπετε ?

Redsn0w, the regularly reliable jailbreaking tool for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users, has just been updated to version 0.9.9b9b, and brings with it a couple of handy finishing touches.

iOS-5.0.1-WM

With the main focus of attention tending to be aimed at the upgrades in the actual software update from Apple, the progress being made on the tools that jailbreak them are often overlooked. It’s a privilege that we’ve so many willing developers working constantly to make the process of jailbreaking even easier, and the iPhone Dev-Team – the gang behind Redsn0w – have added many new functions which do exactly that.

Here’s the full change-log:

native support for 5.0.1 (no need to point redsn0w at 5.0 IPSW or use command-line args). Support automatically extends to all of redsn0w’s various functions: “Jailbreak”, “Just boot”, “Fetch blobs”, “Stitch blobs”, “Recovery Fix”
iBooks fixed in 5.0 and 5.0.1. This is a targeted fix that doesn’t remove entire sandbox mechanism. 5.x users already using redsn0w “Just Boot” can just use the new version without redoing entire jailbreak again
3GS old-bootrom owners can now create custom IPSWs without blobs
ultrasn0w compatibility update (i.e. same baseband requirements) for 5.0.1 will be available on Cydia Monday
support for newer 8GB iPhone4 (which until now had problems with “Fetch blobs”). Thanks to @JKjeepnJeff for loaning us one of these newer i4 units for testing!
allows Windows users (not just OS X users) to use the “Custom” button to create IPSWs without baseband updates.
accommodates APTickets in 5.x (until next Apple countermove). APTickets are crypto-verified before submitting to Cydia, just like the main blobs. Cydia server support for sending back the APTickets is upcoming. For now, use stitched IPSWs for 5.x. Due to APTickets, stitched 5.x IPSWs now require user to start in “Pwned DFU” mode
Support added for stitching 4.x blobs to iPad2-GSM IPSWs. Similar to @notcom’s TinyCFW but doesn’t require lots of RAM or a TSS-assisted restore. Won’t work for iPad2 5.x blobs (or iPhone4S at all) until a bootrom-level exploit is out
top line now shows whether (and where) a redsn0w update is available, or if the version being run is the latest. Uses DNS TXT record to alleviate any concerns about snooping
no 5.1 beta support at this time (major apps like Cydia are not yet compatible)
@pod2g has been doing a great job porting his 5.x untether…check his blog for updates!
Owners of newer 3GS iPhones must not flash the iPad baseband. The iPad baseband will not work on 3GS iPhones built later than 2011 week 35. You have a week 35 or later device if your serial # starts with xx135.
This is still a tethered jailbreak for all except old-bootrom 3GS users.

It is now fully supportive of the latest firmware, which is iOS 5.0.1. Those who have jailbroken the dev-only release of iOS 5.0.1 will know that it required you to ‘trick’ it by pointing to the original iOS 5 build. That has all been rectified now, though, and Redsn0w recognizes 5.0.1 automatically, meaning; you don’t have to go through the fuss of pointing Redsn0w at iOS 5 manually then go ahead with the tether-jailbreak.

Another major feature which has been added to Redsn0w is the ability to downgrade from iOS 5.x for devices with SHSH blobs saved.

Those looking for an untethered jailbreak (which, we assume, is pretty much everybody), will have to wait for pod2g’s updates. He has been working very hard on it. We have already been updating you on his progress lately, and will continue to do so as he comes up with even more updates. Having said that, it could be weeks or even more, before an untethered jailbreak is released to public.

Ωραία δες τα βήματα που θα κάνω μην κάνω καμιά βλακεία...

Συνδέω το iphone κατεβάζει απο μόνο του το firmware (αυτόματα το 4.1.2)
και μετά κάτεβάζω το jailbrake (έχει σημασία κάποιο συγκεκριμένο) και το τρέχω
Unlock δεν θα κάνω

Παιδιά μήπως ξέρει κάποιος να με βοηθήσει??

εχω προβλημα...!!!! κατεβασα to redsnow 0.9.9b9 εκανα jailbreak περασε κανονικα το cydia και κανω εγγατασταση απο το cydia εφαρμογες στην 3η με βγαζει σε safe mode και δεν ξεκολαει με τπτ εχω iphone 4 με ios 5.01 ΣΟΣ πωσ μπορω να το βγαλω απο safe mode ή πως να βγαλω το jail beak να περιμενω το full σπασμενο....??

Για να βγει το jailbreak πρέπει να γίνει restore το κινητό!
Κάποιο από αυτά που κατέβασες δημιουργεί το πρόβλημα! Πρέπει να το απεγκαταστήσεις!

παιζει να φταιει κατι αλλο απο το cydia ή λογο reboot προσπαθησα να κανω restor αλλα μου εγραψε στο τελος οτι δεν γινετε και αν θελω να το αναφερω στην apple και πατησα οχι εθχαριστω παντος

λογικα στο iphone 4s - ios 5.0.1 - unlocked - mac osx σου βγαζει το παρακατω.. που σημαινει πως δεν γινεται jailbreak

Που μπορώ να κοιτάω όταν θα βγεί επισης θέλω και για ipod 4g υπαρχεί αν ναι που μπορώ να δω γιατί το είχα κάνει αλλα μόλις έκλεισε δεν ανοιγε και ξέρω οτί πρέπει να το ξανα κάνω αλλα δεν το βρήσκω

Υπάρχει αλλά είναι Tethered! Που σημαίνει πως κάθε φορά που κλείνει πρέπει να κάνεις Just Boot για να ανοίξει! Γίνεται με το redsn0w 0.9.9b9
