Το παιχνίδι έχει σαν στόχο να διασκεδάσει αλλά παράλληλα να ευαισθητοποιήσει τους παίκτες σχετικά με τη διάσωση του περιβάλλοντος. Γι' αυτό το λόγο υποστηρίζεται από τρεις μεγάλους Μη Κυβερνητικούς Οργανισμούς, των οποίων οι δράσεις στοχεύουν στην αειφόρο ανάπτυξη.

This planet is full of green trees, wonderful rivers and amazing living creatures.
This is our planet, earth! In order to keep earth happy, you need to face the evil sources of pollution. This is not going to be easy though because your enemies will be colossal smokestacks, evil factories and nuclear toxic waste.
On the other side, you are also a guardian, protecting all forms of life, from the smallest plant to the wildest animal!
Happy Planet is an environmental education video game designed specially for the iPhone in order to inform and motivate players on environmental sustainability.
